it’s my 12 year anniversary today. today back in 1999 I walked through a pink door on campus and said aloud what my mother already knew.
I didn’t mean for it to be today, it just happened. Actually I showed up on campus and saw the pink door after I had cried my eyes out that morning and said, “oh fuck”.
